Apartment
The living space of the apartment is 250 sq.m. It has two-direction orientation: to the South and to the North. The northern windows and the stained-glass window of the living-room are facing the amazing view of the river Dniepr and the southern ones are facing the courtyard’s green terraces.
The apartment is projected for the young family with two babies. The main homeowners’ request was having two autonomous zones – the parents’ zone and the children’s one (taking into consideration the wishes of the each family member). These should be united with a big spacious living-room and a kitchen/dinning-room with the emphasis on the island bar. Actually, the task of optimizing the layout turned out difficult, though possible due to large space of the apartment itself.

The living-room is the central place of the family pastime, it joints the parents’ and the children’s zones
The atmosphere of the main apartment area is based on the carefully selected materials – first of all, it is decorated with the customized wooden veneer sheeted panels. Their conciseness is emphasized with deep-brown ceramic granite of the same color as the kitchen-furniture as well as with finishing and chocolate-colored decorative plaster.
The view from the island-bar
On the right, behind the decorative wall is a low-key passageway leading to the private office (it’s also a guest bedroom) and to closet, that is connected to the homeowners’ bedroom and the bathroom.
The island bar
In the central part of the living-room is a wooden island bar illuminated by the luminescent lights which ties the living room to the kitchen/dinning room like a continuous band.

The living-room view from the fireplace zone
The floors in most rooms are paved with parquet veneer sheeted battens (whitened oak).
The kitchen
The big illuminated poster’s plane in brown colors with the mix of the Venice photos on it creates the special climate that turns the kitchen into the decors to the magic actions.
The kitchen furniture — a pencil-case and a hanging element
They are built in the walls’ recesses. The kitchen furniture finishing is congruent to the wall and floor ceramic granite colors wich makes the solution pithy and integral.
The big, river view stained-glass window makes a special feeling of the volume
The armchair by the stained-glass window and the comfortable sofa have the right form, color and texture. The form and location of the island bar were prompted by the homeowner who wanted to have a possibility to watch TV, communicate with people sitting at the dinning-table and to track what happens in the kitchen while sitting by the bar stand.
The children area
It starts from a big playing room with stained-glass window, with two children’s bedrooms on both sides of the playing room, each child’s bedroom having its own bathroom.

The apartment entrance area
It is separated from the living-room by a movable partition and by the intricate cupboard with the customized wooden panels.

It is both a clothes keeper from the hall-side and the decorative wall housing the TV and recesses from the living-room-side
