Apartment

Project of Olga Akulova
It's an apartment with the total area of 110 sq.m. in the central part of Kiev, located in the post-war building.
It is a recast of the reformation-period interior. We disassembled the mezzanine floor that divided the flat across.
The specification requirements were to find place for two bedrooms with their own bathroom, a living-room and a kitchen zone. The existent kitchen furniture from Poggenpohl and sofas from Rolf Benz had also to be inserted in the new interior.

The excogitation and inspiring factors – the area made the mood, the interior manifested constructivism and it conceived a desire to soften it with vintage (the chest by Laura Ashley, accessories).
The table top is the workplace in the living-room.
