Lake House
No doubt, the project of this house at the lakeside has been developed by an architect under the impression produced by the movie with the same name (Lake House, 2006). This house is located in Dnepropetrovsk city, Ukraine. The geometrically regular parallelepiped (its dimensions 7.85 m x 26.6 m) is extended from the forest to the lake and abounds in the glazed terraces. The house won’t suffer from high humidity and floods – its columns lift the house above the ground which protects it effectively and makes the house lighter for sight.

The building process in June 2007
The living-room has a fantastically convenient option – the outside metal jalousie, operated from the inside. In this way the homeowners can control the level of immersion in the nature
Frame and walls construction process
The living-room is based on the 4-meter console – that is on a solid reinforced concrete frame that stands on the reinforced concrete props. The props stand on the grillage that is located on the drilled piles (as it is a swamp area)

We can offer you the house designer's height as a scale measure. His height is 1.76 m. As you can see the house is not as little as it could seam at first sight
