Oktyabrskaya square

This work makes a part of the historical-architectural substantiation of the reconstruction of Oktyabrskaya square in Dnepropetrovsk. The project presents 3 historic stages: the projects by K. Gerua, by I. Starov and modern buildings. The Gerua and Starov buildings modeling didn't create particular problems with the exception of someclassical elements. But the creation of the modern look of the square needed the maximum and long-term efforts. Out of respect for the historical value of this square for Dnepropetrovsk, the authors decided to reproduce the houses and their environs not only recognizable but very cognate. We had to model all the objects, that is the houses (mainly in classic style), the relief, the roads, the monuments and greenery, very detailed. Only realizing that this work is necessary for the city and that Dnepropetrovsk once started from this square, made us finish this huge work.
